Supervision Workshop - Best Practices in Christian Supervision (4 Supervisory CEUs)

Description: The objective of this course is to inform and encourage supervisors toward best practices when it comes to general supervision (e.g. supervision contract, goal setting, etc.) and identify any additional elements to consider when supervising others who identify as Christian. It will also cover best practices when it comes to integration of faith into the supervision/therapy process and how to best respect the power dynamics within the supervisory relationship. Supervisors who attend this course will come away with very practical tools to utilize best practices in their supervision. They’ll know how to skillfully set up a supervisory relationship, set supervisory goals, give feedback and assess supervisees’ progress. They will also become more aware of the power dynamics within the supervisory relationship and how this can impact the supervision process.
